Please join us for this generative writing workshop that will be framed around ancestral mythology. Everyone has ancestors that have provided the path for us to be here today; we carry their DNA and intergenerational synchronicities. We will explore the significance of place, nature, personal mythology, and the ways that upon reflection, lineage shows up in our lives. We will reach back and forward while exploring both shadow and light. We will create, rewrite and embody our own personal mythologies.
Note: This writing workshop is open to all types and levels of writers.
Please bring: A notebook, writing implement, computer or ipad to write with

Did you know that the body has a story to tell?
Using breath, movement and meditation techniques from Yoga, Kundalini, Qi Gong and more, we will bring awareness to our body and practice writing from a place of deep listening, allowing our stories to rise through a series of writing exercises and movement.
Designed for writers who want to move and yogis who want to try creative writing, all levels welcome. Not recommended for those with injuries or who may find it hard to sit on the floor.
Please bring:
• Bring a notebook and pen to write with
• Stretchy workout clothes to wear for comfort
• Bring a yoga mat, some props provided
